3PL invoice audit / evidence first
Check your 3PL bill against your agreed rates.
Find pricing differences, unexpected surcharges and charges that need more evidence.
One free audit · No card required.
To start, have a supported invoice CSV, dispatch CSV and agreed YAML rate card ready. See file requirements.
Example using test data
One charge, next to its agreed rate
| Charge | Charged amount | Agreed amount | Difference | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pick fee | £1.20 | £1.20 | £0.00 | Matches |
This example uses test data. A flagged difference is not a guaranteed refund, and a charge that cannot be verified is not a confirmed error.
Three simple steps
From invoice to evidence
- 01
Upload your invoice and agreed rates.
- 02
Compare charges with fulfilment records.
- 03
Review differences and export the evidence.
The Shopify app uses available Shopify fulfilment records. The public trial needs a supported dispatch CSV; Shopify records do not prove every warehouse activity.
Know what the check covers
What we check
- Shopify app: supported pick rates and quantities, plus some contractual surcharges, when fulfilments can be matched.
- Public trial: supported dimensional charges and surcharge rules, using your dispatch file and agreed rates.
What needs more evidence
- Storage, minimum charges and bundle-pick checks are not part of the current merchant workflows.
- Shopify fulfilments do not provide packed-carriage measurements; carriage cannot be verified from product weight alone.
- Returns, receiving and other warehouse activity need their own linked operational records.
Detailed file requirements
Public trial
One Mintsoft, Royal Mail OBA or Sendcloud invoice CSV, a ShipHero dispatch CSV, and your own supported contractual YAML rate card. The dispatch export needs shipment references, SKUs, shipped quantities and dates.
Shopify app
An invoice CSV and agreed rate card (PDF, XLSX, CSV, JSON or YAML), plus successful fulfilment records available to the connected store. It does not need a dispatch CSV. Extracted contract terms must be supported and validate before an audit can run.
Use one currency for the invoice and rates. Files are processed temporarily and removed after the run. Read about data handling.
Questions before you start
What files do I need?
The public trial needs a supported invoice CSV, a ShipHero dispatch CSV and your agreed YAML rate card. The Shopify app uses the store's available successful fulfilments instead of a dispatch CSV.
Which charges can it check?
Coverage depends on the workflow. The Shopify app can compare supported pick charges and some contractual surcharges against Shopify fulfilment records. The public trial checks supported dimensional charges and surcharges using your dispatch file and agreed rates.
What happens when evidence is missing?
The charge stays unresolved or marked for review, with the evidence gap shown.
Does it automatically request refunds?
No. WarehouseAudit provides comparisons and evidence for you to review. You decide whether to contact your 3PL.
